New Directions in Personalised Cancer Therapy is the theme for next year’s Annual Scientific Meeting for the Medical Oncology Group of Australia (1-3 August 2018, Adelaide Convention Centre). While personalised cancer therapy has become core business for medical oncology practice as an ever evolving field it continues to pose many challenges for us as a profession.
Our aim for the national meeting of Australian medical oncologists in 2018 is to develop a scientific program that highlights new directions in personalised medicine in several tumour types, including lung, genitourinary and rare cancers. It will also include sessions on new directions in research, practice and treatment strategies for targeted therapies, pharmacogenomics and molecular biomarkers.
We are planning to invite up to 4 top-line international guest speakers who are world leaders in their fields of clinical research and practice to participate in the program. A large complement of Australian experts will also be invited to present at the meeting. The meeting will include a range of plenary sessions, symposia, breakfast meetings and abstract presentations in addition to a large exhibition and poster display, social networking events and professional meetings.
We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide.
