Oral Presentation and Poster Display

From the accepted abstracts a selection will be scheduled for an oral and a poster display or only a poster display.

Abstracts on completed studies and research outcomes may be given preference in selecting oral presentations, above all, over abstracts which do not report results but indicate that they will be reported at the meeting or contain descriptions of trial methodology.

Presenters selected for oral and poster presentations are expected to attend the 2018 ASM and cover their own costs of attendance.

Presenting Author Registration

The presenting author must be registered as a delegate at the MOGA ASM 2018 and will be required to cover their own costs to attend the meeting.

If the presenting author cannot attend the MOGA ASM 2018 an alternate can be considered. Alternate presenters need to be approved by the ASM Planning Committee. MOGA does not allow company representatives or staff to present abstracts on behalf of first authors.

Conflict of Interest & Author Contribution Forms

All authors must complete and return the Conflict of Interest and Author Contribution forms to the first author. The first author should email one signed copy of both forms and all forms completed by other authors to projects2@moga.org.au

No Show Policy

Should a presenting author be absent without notice during the MOGA 2018 Meeting session the abstract is scheduled to be presented in, the presentation may be cancelled or presented by the Session Chair.

Trademarks

Trademarks may be used in the abstract text but only in brackets and only once, i.e. the first time the product/service is mentioned. The identity of drugs/technologies described in the abstract should be disclosed by means of generic name, a brief description or reference to a public source.

Copyright

Submission of an abstract for the MOGA ASM 2018 implies the exclusive, unrestricted granting of copyright to MOGA to publish the abstract in the Abstract and Program Booklet, a supplement of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology, and on the MOGA ASM 2018 Mobile App. Abstract authors retain full copyright.
